1)Can I play Albion Online on my phone?
No. Although Albion Online will be available on iOS (on release) and Android, and so this means that it is technically possible to play on an iPhone or Android phone during testing, Albion Online is not a typical mobile title - it is a full MMO experience, and we believe that the game can only be enjoyed to its full on a screen size of at least 7 inches.
For this reason, we will not be supporting play on phones, and as we move closer to release we will be taking steps to enforce this more strictly.
We apologise for any inconvenience, but we're proud of our project and want all of our players to get the best experience of the final product that they can.

3)Will Albion Online be available on Steam?
Hopefully at some stage! For the foreseeable future we’d like to keep distribution via our website only, which leaves us feeling a lot more in control of what’s going on. We’re a big fan of the helpful features of Steam, though, so we will certainly release on Steam at some stage.
4)I can't afford a founder's pack, can you give me free access?
Sadly, we cannot allow free access to testing to the general public. Sandbox Interactive is an independent studio, which is great, as it allows us full creative control of Albion Online, but it also means that we need to watch our finances pretty closely! Restricting test access to founders is a great way of allowing our wonderful community to directly support development, and give them some unique gear, items, and in game currency in return.
If you don’t want to purchase a founder’s pack, you can wait until Albion Online is free to play on release. In the meantime we’ll keep everyone up-to-date as much as possible via our social media pages, which are as follows:
Facebook
Twitter
Reddit
Forums
YouTube, for dev blogs
Note: We also occasionally run promotions which allow you a chance to get a pack by referring friends through your referral link – we’ll update the community via our forums and website as and when those promotions are active.
5)Will Albion Online be translated into [language]?
At this early stage, we can’t comment on which languages we’ll be localizing Albion Online into. Currently planned languages include German (DE) and Russian (RU). Beyond these, we must continue to assess our community as we move closer towards release, and work out which languages would be best to serve our fans.
In the meantime, please note that Albion Online is not a text-heavy game, and we like to think that most of the gameplay is intuitive enough even for non-English speakers to work out for themselves! Want a version of the game in your native language? Invite your friends to like Albion Online on Facebook, so we can see that we have a market in your country!
6)Does free to play mean 'pay to win'?
Any player can be successful and leave their mark on Albion Online without spending any real money.
If you want to play seriously and be part of the Albion elite, you can make your account premium, which offers certain advantages.
This give you a choice. It means you're not locked out of any content if you want to play for free, but you can choose to invest in your experience if you want the game to go the extra mile for you.
Note that premium accounts aren't locked to players spending real-world money; a premium account can be bought with in game Gold, which can be traded between players on the game market.
